Initia is proud to announce the successful completion of a 3-day intensive on-site training program at Royal Medical Center Abu Dhabi, marking an important step in expanding access to the Morenova® Low-Intensity Shockwave Therapy device across the UAE.
Led by Initia’s Product Manager, Ms. Jwana Akawe, the training brought together a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals — including specialized physicians, biomedical engineers, and experts in management, sales, operations, and marketing. The sessions provided a unique platform to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and explore new treatment possibilities.
Broad Clinical Applications
The training showcased the wide-ranging potential of Morenova® technology across multiple fields of medicine:
- Men’s Health – Erectile Dysfunction (ED), Peyronie’s Disease (PD), Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS)
- Women’s Health – Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD), Overactive Bladder (OAB)
- Orthopedics – Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs)
- Aesthetics – Cellulite and stretch marks
- Wound Care – Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and advanced wound healing
Driving Innovation Through Training
Through a combination of live demonstrations and in-depth clinical discussions, participants gained hands-on experience with the Morenova® system. The program highlighted how shockwave therapy can enhance patient outcomes, broaden clinical offerings, and create new opportunities for treatment across diverse specialties.
“This collaboration with Royal Medical Center is just the beginning,” said Ms. Akawe. “By working closely with leading healthcare professionals in the region, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering solutions that truly transform patient care.”
